Countdown to NaNoWriMo 2004
Approximately 10 days and a few hours to the start of this year’s National Novel Writing Month. Am I ready? It’s all in my head!
I did bring out last year’s novel to have a look, and felt quite encouraged by it. I mean, I wrote 50,000 words in 30 days last year. Surely I can do it again? In fact, this year, I think I’ll be a little more prepared.
Looking at last year’s effort, I think I did quite well. More than meeting the challenge of writing 50,000 words, I wrote a story. Yeah … *satisfied sigh*
I like what I wrote so much that I’m putting it up on the Net. And because I like making HTML pages so much, I’ve spent the last couple of evenings making the story pretty to read and look at online. Crazy, I know, cuz the time spent on a past year effort should be spent preparing for this year’s.
Now we know where my priorities lie. All over the place.
