Actually, all I wanted to order were the top two books, A Writer’s Life and Living with Lupus, which acmabooks.com had in stock. But the site was also having a special offer for maybank2u.com customers. Plus, there was their usual free shipping for orders RM200/- and above. How could I resist? I didn’t even bother.
The other three books were chosen because one bears a crazy title and is written by women, the second is about my favourite beverage, and the third combines two favourite topics (food and relationships – grandmothers, in this case).
