Right time, right place
Beth was online this morning when I really needed someone to share something with. What good timing – me here in Malaysia and she in the States, halfway around the world and a 12-hour difference between us. But it didn’t matter. Good old Internet made it possible for us to spend some time together, despite the spatial and temporal differences.
As usual, I talked and she listened. And commented where appropriate.
I was sharing the heartache of losing a 25-year-old gift from my sister just yesterday. How I looked and looked and couldn’t find it. She comforted me with such positive comments as “in time [it] will show up!”, “God will return it to you at a later time when you really need it!”, and “it will show up one of these days!”
Then, while we were chatting, my father came up to my work table and placed something on it.

Much to my surprise, Beth went on to say: “Thank you for sharing it with me and allowing me to boost my own faith!! IT has been flagging a little lately and I have been struggling with myself lately …”
I guess God used the two of us to help each other this morning.
