I have reserved two seats for the Janis Ian concert in Singapore, mainly cuz I don’t know which one is better.

Since my brother works and lives in Singapore, I got him online to ask which of the authorised agents was nearest for him to collect the ticket.

Here’s part of our online chat:

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
can show me the webpage?

Chet says:
wait

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
maybe i go and buy directly instead of online

Chet says:
Not sure if the authorised agents sell

Chet says:
or if only through online booking

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
i think book through phone also can

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
then collect from agents

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
there’s one in jurong east

Chet says:
If I book online, and you collect, I have to give you letter to say you’re collecting on my behalf

Chet says:
So mar fan

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
ya lor

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
i book for you lah

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
what seats you chose?

Chet says:
The $120/- seats

….

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
where’s the plan of the hall?

….

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
who’s the singer, cannot find

Chet says:
The first page above, shows her photo

Chet says:
Janis Ian

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
wah she still around

Chet says:
You know her?

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
ya

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
she sang the song 17 right?

….

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
if the hall is so small, i don’t think it makes a lot of difference if you buy the $80 seat, especially if it is in row D, just behind C

….

Chet says:
How far is it (concert venue) from your apartment?

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
esplanade is opposite the victoria concert hall where u went to watch the play* the last time

Chet says:
you buying a ticket for me?

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
ya

Chet says:
then I top up the 40 bucks for the $120/- ticket, can?

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
i see whether the seats good or not first

Chet says:
ok

The One And Only Mr Chin says:
if lousy then pay more

Gosh, this is so exciting …

*big grin*
