Two went in, one came back
About two weeks ago, two residents from GT Heritage were hospitalised – Mdm Choo for her weak heart and CPF for renal failure. Unfortunately, she did not make it, while he’s back at the home, a different man from before he was admitted.
She’d had an external pacemaker fitted but the doctors said it would not last long. Her grandson, who is her only surviving family, had to make a decision whether to allow surgery for an internal pacemaker to be fitted or to leave it in the Hands of the Lord (as in no surgery). He chose the former which unfortunately did not work as she was too old and frail to withstand the surgery.
She was in her 90s and has now gone home to the Lord.
