“New” MP3 Player

Well, not really. It’s my Zire 72, which has a built-in MP3 player.

On weekends, I usually do not bring the ZenX out with me. That’s because the one radio station I sometimes listen to plays oldies on weekends (the 70s on Saturdays and 60s on Sundays), so that’s what I tune into when I’m out in my car on weekends.

But today, even oldies music cannot make up for the silly radio commercials the station was playing. I was about to grumble that I didn’t have ZenX with me when I realised there was still the Z72. So I took it out of the bag, plugged it into the cassette adapter kit, and was soon listening to Janis Ian. Who else, lah?

I’d recently bought a 512MB SD card for the Z72, and have 40 songs in it which take up 159MB of space. Like the ZenX, I can also create playlists on the Z72′s MP3 player, which is what I’ve done.

Let’s see – Janis Ian, kdlang, janisian-050226, kdlang Singapore, and Praise and Worship. There are also other songs not in playlists yet.
