We had the biggest turnout of Rudies in Rudies Place about 6 hours ago.

Marjan had emailed her that a group of us were in the chat room. An email from the Netherlands to Nashville, TN, USA which went through within minutes. She happened to be online, and received the email. Next thing you know, she’d registered in Kyalla’s Korner and found her way into the chat room.
She had 10 minutes to chat before going back to whatever it was she was doing (seeing to a faulty air-cond).
I couldn’t believe it was her and asked the stupid question, “Is that really you, Janis?”
Her reply? “I hope so!”
Yes, it was her.
Other not-so-stupid questions (from the others) were about her new CD, and she graciously shared some news about the progress and plans, where she hopes to record and who with, etc.
She made my day, as I’m sure she made the others’ evenings and nights, too.

You see, it was an international gathering of Rudies in the chat room just now. Here’s the breakdown of countries:
